The Assisted Living Administrators Association for North Carolina (The AA) is a faith-guided professional association committed to strengthening assisted living leadership across North Carolina.

Rooted in Christian values, the AA exists to support administrators & community staff who view their work not merely as a job—but as a calling to serve, to protect dignity, & to steward responsibility with excellence & compassion.

Why The AA Exists

The practice of assisted living administration is sacred work.

Every day, administrators and community staff are entrusted with the care, safety, and well-being of some of our most vulnerable neighbors. This responsibility requires more than technical knowledge—it requires wisdom, integrity, courage, and compassion.

The AA was created in response to a clear need:

  • For faith-anchored leadership in a demanding field

  • For ethical guidance grounded in moral responsibility

  • For support & encouragement for those carrying heavy burdens

  • For a collective voice that seeks what is right, just, & good

We believe that when administrators and community staff are supported, strengthened, and aligned with godly principles, residents, families, staff, and communities are all better served.
